Twitchy
A native Twitch-compatible client built around how you watch on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.

Overview
The idea
Watching a stream at a desk and watching it from a couch call for different interfaces. Twitchy explores how the same channel library and playback architecture can feel natural across Apple devices.

How it works
Inside the project
Platform-specific interfaces
The Mac app uses a sidebar and persistent mini-player. iPad supports side-by-side content and chat. Apple TV uses focus-driven navigation and fullscreen playback.
Shared Swift foundations
The shared package handles Twitch integration and playback routing. User-configured video sources are tried in preference order, and compatible streams use AVPlayer.
Optional self-hosting
A connected Twitchy Server can provide an additional playback source and, when supported, save VODs and clips for offline playback.
Status and limitations
An independent, early source-code preview for self-building. Account consent, physical-device behavior and multi-device iCloud transport have limited verification. Twitchy has no affiliation with Twitch.
